What I have learned and what I need to work on in PhotoJRN

What I have learned in Photo Journalism-
  1. I don't have to use a flash to take a great picture in poorly lit areas
  2. Not everyone loves to have their picture taken
  3. found out how to get better angles and what I should be looking for in an assignment
Negatives -
  1. I wish I had more time to take care of all of my assignments
  2. Want more practice on one specific assignment before moving on to the next
What I need to work on
  1. Trying to find better angles
  2. Sticking to the basic shots when on assignment (Wide, portrait, mid-shot, tight, detailed shot)
  3. working with the lighting in different areas
  4. figuring out how to work the camera a little better
The ways that I can improve the things that need improving is to remember what they are and try to improve. I also need to remind myself that the more I practice the better I will be. All I need to do is remember my weak points and work those in with my strong ones.
